A few people I talked to today said they heard about Bush potentially pulling back the taxes on fuel? Anyone heard reliable info on this??

And replace it with what revenue....I don't think too many politicians would do that.

I like it though and I've not really even heard about it
what do we pay, about 50cents a gallon in taxes?

There's talk over here in Britain of pressuring the government here to do the same thing. Truckers and farmers got them to stop increasing it (i think) in 2000 by blockading the refineries....and they're thinking of doing that again this month. Stung everyone for a week as we ran out at the pumps, but it worked on the boys in power, for a while........
