I have an 84 Pro Star and have new upholstery skins for it, but want to replace the wood with plastic similar to how the newer boats are constructed. Has anyone done this? What type of plastic is used and where can it be purchased.

I think the material is Starboard or something like it. Here is a link to a supplier site:

I looked at the Boat Outfitters site and it looks like the Expanded PVC Sheet and King Starlite can be used for seat cushion bottoms. Does anyone know what material MasterCraft uses? With their reputation for quality I would feel the most comfortable knowing i would be using the same material MasterCraft uses.

What skins do you have and where did you get them? I need a drivers seat skin for my 84 Stars & Stripes.

I have the original style Mastercraft skins. I bought them from Rambo Marine the last year they were available. Now my original upholstery has detoriated enough that it is time to put the new set on.
