Well its starting to get cold here in Louisiana and come november its time for winterization. On my malibu it was pretty simple, two plugs on each side of the motor and a quick connect hose and the the block was drained. I haven't really looked for plugs on my X45 but was wondering if anyone has winterized there boat. the engine is the 6.2L. Im new to mastercraft so havent fooled with the engine much in that aspect. Im not near the the boat so I was seeing what other people have done so i know what i need to do and dont have to bring it to the dealer.

Down south it doesnt really get cold enough for anti-freeze like most peoeple have up north. The boat will only be winterized for about 4 months and our cold changes alot so we dont see freezing temperatures alot. Just wondering if there are two plugs or a hose that drains the block. Any other tips would be great too. Thanks

Ilmore manual covers winterization. See http://www.ilmor.com/user_area/content_media/Owners_Manual_2012-v-2.pdf.

They seem to be advocating the use of marine/RV antifreeze and not dry-blocking for winter storage.
