I have a gray bimini top on my x-1. any suggestions on the best way to remove black spots that I think are a bit of mildew...

Tag says mild soap and water?? Going to tackle this on Sunday...Any help would be great, thanks!

Either remove it and put it in a front loader washing machine on a gentle cycle with very little soap (double rinse) or take it to the car wash, open up the top, and hit it with the spray wand (keep the pressure low). May need to use a brush to get the stains out. Air dry and reinstall. You may want to use some 303 fabric guard on it if it is a sunbrella top. If you do, keep it away from the boat until the fabric guard dries.
