I think I have read about someone doing it on here, and they stated that the hardest parts were drilling the holes into the bottom of the boat. Also, it is best to see if your dealer will tell you the best place to mount the paddle wheel.

I did this on my 190. Its quite easy actually.
Pulled the dash, swapped the speedo head.
Fished the cable through to the bilge.
Decided on location for the paddle (opposite raw water intake).
Got a suitable hole saw out.
Drilled hole from inside till half way through, drilled remaining hole from outside.
Got a file and cleaned edges.
Trial fitted paddle housing.
Applied purflex sealant on the paddle housing.
Fitted and hand tightened the housing.
Dropped the paddle in place.
Applied the security wire to prevent it coming undone.
Connected the wire.
Launched the boat, tested and then had to adjust the speedo to get it to read correctly. Took 5 mins.
Now enjoy more accurate and more reliable speedo.
