I have a 1996 205 with a factory heater. It has a single speed Acu-heat 100 core with the motor built into the core box.

PO stated that it started leaking hot water on his feet one day. Since he did not use the heater, he just had it bypassed. Looking into it today and found it just like PO stated.

I can see where the leak exited the core box. Looking at SkiDIM they sell a 200 core but state that it will not replace the 100 core. So does that leave me replacing the entire system at the tune of $400? Anyone look at repairing the existing core? The box is rivited together. I am thinking about drilling it out and seeing if I can get a radiator shop to repair my existing core. I am assuming at this point that it is a braze joint or something that can be easily fixed. Just looking to see if anyone else has had to fix theirs?
