Any tips on the best place to buy new fuel injectors ('05 Xstar, 350 MCX). I've pulled one and it has the part number: 0 280 155 931 stamped on it. I see they're circa. $75 from Charlotte Ski Boats, but I'm hoping they're also an automotive application and therefore cheaper elsewhere.

Thanks in advance.... Adrian

Looks like a Bosch part number.

Looks like its a bosch model if you search the internet with the numbers (with and without leaving out the spaces. One option you can do is to send them off to be matched and rebuilt at a reasonable cost if you dont want to buy new ($18 each). Cross reference seems to be to A mid 80s corvette. You didnt say why you needed to replace but if it plugged, you probably will begin to see it happen to the others down the line.

Reason for asking is we're getting a new long block as the previous owner of our X Star seems to have dangled the engine underwater at some point! We're going to send the injectors off for testing I think, and then buy new if they're screwed.

Ahh! The famous UK x-star submarine. Didn't notice your name in the post- sorry! Sounds like you are getting it all pulled together!

Just to update this post.... after a bit of research it looks as the MCX injectors were used in fuel injection corvettes but not much else.
