I am selling my 2002 Maristar 230 as I have just recently lost my job. The boat has a completely rebuilt engine (done by dealer last year) with only 40 hours on it, from this season. It has the 330HP fuel injected Indmar engine. Interior is in good shape as I replaced some torn seats last year. Overall, the boat runs great and is in nice shape. It is not perfect but in nice shape for its age. It includess a tandem trailer, awesome sounding Clarion CMD6 stereo with component speakers, new boat cover, and Johnson bimini. Bimini and hardware are included, but not yet installed. Also includes a flush valve to run engine on a garden hose and to facilitate winterizing. I had the dealer change the side decals from Maristar to Mastercraft as I did not like the Maristar look. Swim platform needs to be refinished. I even have the products I purchased to refinish it this fall. This is a reliable boat. I really hate to sell it, but have no choice.
Price is $24,500.
Thanks, Merrill

More Details on the Maristar: I upgraded the rudder to the newer X-Star rudder. Mastercraft changed to this same rudder on the 2003 Maristar, for better steering. Also includes all new stainless steel cup holders for nicer look. Plastic edges on the stock cup holders tend to get broken and look cruddy. Has all new gas shocks for the engine compartment, ski locker, glove box. New bilge and impeller last year. When the dealer rebuilt the engine, they also replaced the dash gauges with all new Mastercraft gauges and installed a new steering cable. CMD6 Clarion includes a remote control as well. Blower hose was also replaced. I also made a delryn step in place of the rear "wrap around" cushion that is right behind the driver seat. This is so when people board and leave the boat they don't have to step on the cushions. I had also intended to get a cockpit table for the boat. The recess for the table came already mounted in the floor. I have the table post but not the table. Boat looks great, runs great and needs nothing to be used daily. Very reliable boat!!
