The fenders on my '89 trailer are faded/oxidized. I tried compounding but didn't have any luck, so I just left them be. Last week, I dropped a rag with Griot's rubber/vinyl dressing on one of them and when I found it a couple of days later, that area of the fender looked much better. So I applied it to the rest of the fender. After a couple of days, I removed what little residue there was. It looks much better. No idea on how long it will stay this way, as I have not been to the lake and the trailer sits in the garage. It's doesn't seem overly slick, but this could change when wet:) At least it looks better sitting in the garage!
