We just started wakesurfing a few weeks ago behind our 2011 Maristar. We have a huge wake behind our boat. But the problem is....the wake doesn't have much push to it. We can surf without the rope but the sweet spot is very small. Any suggestions on why we're missing the push?

more weight up front. Is it a long wake or more like a wall behind the boat?

too many variables
water depth
boat speed
weighting
trimming

It's more like a very tall wall behind the boat. If the surfer accidentally ends up in the center when they pull up...they are way up higher than the boat and looks like they could possibly end up in the boat behind the driver if they crash. LOL

What is your current setup? weight, speed, weight placement, trim tabs etc

more weight up front on surfers side if possible and you need at least 10mph and 10' of water

and a String Bikini

oh, and one more thing.... someone filming in HD

Stock Ballast Port and Middle Tanks completely filled. Right trim tab about 30%. Two 180 lb people sitting on Port side back corner and one 130 lb person sitting in bow in front of driver. Our speed is ~ 9.7. The wake is not very long but is super high.

I would invite a few more friends if possible and put them all along the port side and up front and see what happens with a little more speed as well

have you tried weighting and surfing starboard

No we haven't weighted starboard because I thought I read somewhere on this site that we should use port side but I could be wrong on that.
