1996, clean, 600 hours, single axle trailer, no tower, no other add ons. Original graphics were replaced by "custom":{ asking 17k I think its over priced by about 3k. Not sure if I used the NADA site properly but it gives a range from 8k to 28k.

Am I nuts thinking I can find nice 96 or newer 205 for under 15k?

I think you are dead on. Overpriced by $3k puts it at $14k without tower, ballast, etc. Personally I would pay what I consider top dollar for a pristine 205. Without a ND or equivalent tower and ballast, 14 is about where it is at. Add in a nice tower and ballast, and you get back up to $17-18K. I don't think the market bears any more than that for a dd 205. JMO.

Just FYI I just installed a ND tower and accessories. prewired with the light on top of pylon $4300 after all said and done. (3 racks, lights, tower speakers (JL Audio) the new NDT bimini and install.

Thanks, I wanted to check in before I decide to send them an e-mail asking if they'll consider 14k before I waste an day on a 10 hr round trip. Adding a tower, racks and speed control would push me way over what I have to spend.

I sure like this one, I wish it was 8k cheaper, I imagine the slalom wake wouldn't be as nice since its a v-drive. I'm also thinking they aren't as easy to work on if you prefer to do all your own maintenance.

Can anyone tell me the kind of tower of the boat above? I am looking at a 205 with this exact tower and wondered if there were any problems with it?

Thx!

i don't know the brand of tower, possibly Barewest but with no offense to the owner of this gorgeous 205V, I don't feel the tower flows with the boat at all. I would not want it on mine and I suspect it would hurt resale. Just my opinion but something to consider before buying yours.

Pretty sure that is the first generation zero flex tower. They came on the Xstar up to 2001 when they changed to newer (better imo) style.

I agree that is the ugliest tower I've ever seen. I do believe it is original to that model and up to 01 as stated. I would replace it or take it off if I bought that boat.

Might want to call and make sure it's a 205 first. Picture is a 190.;)

That tower is definitely original Gen 1 zero flex as supplied by masterctaft for that boat.
