What's the best thing you ever took to Lake Powell? Headed later this week and looking for something outside the normal list.

Just returned on Sunday. Neighboring houseboat had one of those huge bolob type things that launches you in the air. We took a few turns on it. We are buying one for next year.

Family first, then boat... Sky ski, water trampoline, blob, laser pointer - to view stars at night, projector, themed nights (see my profile for pics), dry ice in boat cooler (had Popsicles 3rd day)...

Ok, fine, based on your responses I'll take the family ;) (and fulfill CantRepeat's post at the same time).

Also, added a laser pointer and dry ice to my list and grabbed the mask from my scuba gear.

Friday can't come soon enough. Come say hi if you see a yellow X-30 Friday morning launching from Wahweep.

What i wished i'd taken to Powell was a good book, because for slalom, it sucks. LOL

what I've never had but would kill for: ice machine.

I'll be requesting my timeshare group fit that into the upgrades for next year.

I have been swerving on Lake Powell since the early 70's. It can be some of the greatest water on the planet...

The water sucks when X-holes with 1000 lbs of ballast criss cross the coves at 8 mph or Malitubes and IOs circle like drunken racoons. This time of the year is perfect for slalom euphoria.

Nothing beats the protected waters of a small private ski lake. But nothing compares to the beauty of Lake Powell.
