Maybe retail. I payed $15450 for my 87 slot with mc single place trailer, cover and maybe a few other minor things. I would say more like $12k in 84.

Wired, good job finding that! Interesting all the options they had. Is the deluxe package S&S? I love the $35 for factory pickup, talk about charge for everything.

The 79 SS I bought brand new and still own was $9800 with trailer plus taxes.

My guess would have been around $12 G's but what he heck do I know. Wow have things changed or what. :D

Does anyone on here own one of the S&S's with a 454? That motor box has to be huge... I can't ever imagine needing more than the 351 in these boats. With that motor and the powerslot, it's a beast out of the hole.

Here is an 89' with a 454. The motor box is big. The photo of the boat in the lock is when I owned it. The other two of the new owner. I saw it one day in a boat house. I had to stop and check it out. The new owner should be drawn and quartered for the way he treated the boat. I understand that it is on it's 3rd owner.

This was from another poster on here. That bought his boat new and had the build sheet.
