If you click on "View current reservoir levels" you can see if they have opened the valve and the current lake level. So far this year it is looking very good for both Geist and Morse. Morse looked a foot or so down from earlier 9-1-05.

Yes, I think it is running over the top still.

Just out of curiousity since I am not in the "know" why is this important? For any other reason than water depth? Is there usually a problem on these bodies of water?

low water levels.........Home owners have been known to wake up to a lake where levels have dropped and unable to get the boats off the lifts....all winter :o

Mostly problem on Morse. Most of the owners docks are sitting in 4-6 feet of water or less. I think it will drop around 9 feet in two weeks if they open the valve all the time. Top 1/3 of Morse is <9 feet and they say it becomes an ATV course when it drops. Last year it was a big deal.

Just something to think about, if your lake gets dropped in the fall. My slip is in 25' of water with deep water to ramp.
