2012 X25 swim platform rubber mat is peeling away at a corner and peeling back more and more as time goes on. What should I use to glue this back down until I can get the dealer to do a proper warranty repair?

I never had any luck when mine started coming loose. I finally peeled the whole thing off and scrapped both the mat and the fiberglass. Now it's perfect. Here's the steps and pics.

I'm having the same issue. Mine is being replaced soon. I've tried different things to hold it over, none have worked. Good thing for warranty replacements.

I just re-glued mine with the DAP contact cement. I will be taking it out today, we'll see how it holds, but seems like a strong bond. (see above thread link)^^

My 2011 peeled really bad to the point that it was dagerouse stepping onto the platform in the water as the entire mat felt like there was oil underneath allowing it to slip (it was 75% unglued). MC ended up replaceing the platform under warranty (also were some spider cracks). I regularly check my current platform and so far has been trouble free. If its minor, I would get MMS to document it for warranty first before attempting any fixes on your own.

Bingo, we have a winner. Get it documented for warranty first. Get them to agree that you can continue to still use the boat even if it comes 100% off and they need to order new mat and replace.

I'll call them today and take some pictures with my iPhone.

Good point. My dealer has already taken pictures and the new mat is on order. We left it that I might as well use this one for now and install the new one in the winter, in the meantime more of it is peeling up, so I needed to glue it back down.

Any idea what a teak replacement platform costs?

Ya MMS said just take pictures and re-glue it with weather stripping adhesive...

It'll be a good temp fix until they redo it.
