Inland Surfer's big board - Inland Surfer Red Rocket (http://www.inlandsurfer.com/boards/12/redrocket.htm). It is a great board for big guys or small guys who like to get WAY behind on the wake but still catch up.

6'4" 3bills here. TheWoons (Ryan) hooked me up with a red rocket. Couldn't be happier. First board I could actually ride (not just sit there behind the boat).

Blue glad you're liking the board!

I've hooked up 20+ people with boards here on the forum. If you need one Hecker let me know.

I picked up an Inland Surfer Blue Lake. I thought I might get more use out of it than the Red Rocket. I can't wait to try it out.

Thanks for the offer Woons.

Yeah you cannot go wrong with inland surfer. I am 6'4 225 and have a swallow v2. It is fantastic. Fast and lots of action too. Have fun.

What boat are you surfing behind? I have a 2005 x-30 and can't go rope less with Ronix Koal 5'6" version.

Honestly the Ronix surf boards are no good. You'd be MUCH happier with something like an Inland Surfer.

Well... the Ronix boards our group uses work pretty good....... a lot depends on your usage and point of view
I would however like to get an IS or Walker someday........

Kodiak, you can go wireless with a red rocket for sure. A few people switched to Inlands from the Ronix and were much happier with the Inlands.

I've got a 2004 X-10. My first day out with the Red Rocket I had app. 550lb in port locker, 250lb in sandbags on port floor, ski locker full, a 300lb buddy on port seat and 125lb gf driving. No line, no problem.

FWIW that setup's not great. I'm still playin with it

Kodiak, you could do a I.S. Red Woody as well. I love mine.

I have a Red Rocket that I bought a few months ago. Easy to ride! Only rode a few times but I want to sell because I am riding my skim style board all the time. Email me if interested. stonecreek@nc.rr.com

If you like skim style the Phase 5 Model-X is spectacular.
**Tip remove the side fins to make the board loose, its a blast!**

You behemoths could pick up a cheap used true surfboard, shorty, and that will work great too. Flip tip.

Woons,
I now surf behind my X9 (direct drive) with the largest hyperlite broadcast board they make. I can ride forever but it is starting to get a bit boring. It is kind of like driving a bus. Do you think a red rocket will be better (more fun and responsive) based on what you know about my boat and size (6'1 230)
