I have a '99 SportStar with the tan carpet with a subtle pattern (I believe it's called birdseye). I need a remnant about 3' x 1' for a repair. I've searched the internet, Jim at BAWS, and a couple other dealers - no luck. Anyone have some laying around they would sell?

Could you post a picture of what it looks like? I have a 99 Maristar that I will be replacing carpet in in the Fall and found some replacement online that matches almost perfectly. I might also have some scraps once I cut a template and get the new carpet in. Check out this thread.

Corinthian sent me a sample and I held it up to my old carpet and there is hardly a difference. That is the route that I'm going to take but I think you have to order at least 8.5 * 10 roll. I may have some scraps, but I'm not sure they will match exactly with the dirt/grime over the years.

Yea I saw the minumum order is high for what I need! If you order new carpet would you consider selling me a 1' x 3' piece?

If I buy some you can have whatever scraps of mine that you would like (just arrange shipping).

When are you thinking of doing this? I'm also going to email Corinthian and see if they have any scraps laying around.

Not a bad idea to email them. I plan on starting on it in Sept/Early Oct. It just depends on how long our Summer allows us to stay out. I also have to pull engine first as that is going to be worked on during this project as well.

I called them this morning and they post remnants on their site every month under "specials." There were actually a couple sandstone remnants this month that sold. They said to check back every month. I'll keep you posted. Good luck with the project! It sounds major-league!

Corinthian Marine Carpet is a great site to source carpet. They say they post "specials" every month on remnants but the last list was posted back in July, so just keep monitoring the site. It's a winter project anyway.

I just ordered some carpet so I should have some remnants in the next month or so once my project gets done. I'll let you know what I can get for you.

I just ordered 8.5x22' of the cut loop - taupe today. I needed some for my rear seat project, but decided to just re-do all the carpet since they had a minimum order of 10'

Call viper customs, they may have some, or may sell you smaller quantities.

Did you order the sandstone, and do you have any left you would sell?

I have a 99' sportstar, of which I just replaced all the carpet in the boat this winter with corinthain marine carpet. I threw all the old stuff away however, I should have saved some of the old stuff.

Corithian was a great replacement the color, it was a little lighter than the original but looks great now installed.

good luck.

Patrhodes, I also ordered some and have a good chunk left. How much are you needing? Still only the 1' by 3' piece? I threw my old stuff away too because it was soiled, but have some of the new.

I would gladly take a piece around 4' x 4' or 5' x 5' so I have some spare carpet. Let me know what you want for it plus shipping. Sandstone, correct?

I'll double check but i believe it's sandstone. It may be a bit as it is out in storage and i dont make it out there every week though.

Sorry to bother again! Corinthian has not had any Sandstone remnants for over a year now. I requested samples and my carpet matches their Sandstone sample exactly! If you get a chance to check your storage this summer I would greatly appreciate it, and I will take some off your hands, enough to make it worth your while!

Patrhodes,

I'm sorry for not getting back to you on this sooner. With work, I've hardly had a chance to get out to the boat lately and the one time I did I completely forgot about the carpet until I was 20 min down the road. I'll try and write something on a note to place next to the boat keys so I remember. I hope to get out there this weekend.

Thank you for your help! I would prefer to get it from Corinthian and not have to bother you! However they have had no Sandstone remnants for over a year now. I check every week, and call periodically.

Alright man I checked today and I have a piece about 8 1/2 x 7 I think. I didnt take a tape measure so that is an estimate. Only problem I see is going to be shipping the thing. Its in a giant roll and I've been looking for plastic to wrap it in and cant find any yet. Pm me your telephone number and we can try to work something out.

I have a 72 sq. Ft piece of the corinthian marine carpet left if anyone is interested. It's the same as was in my 99 Maristar. It's the pattern seen here http://www.mastercraft.com/teamtalk/showthread.php?t=49031
