Is there a manual or checklist on what all needs to be done to fully winterize a Mastercraft? 2010 Mastercraft X2.

I'd love one for our 03 209 as well.

It was designed with an older boat as the model, but this will work fine for a 2010 X2. I borrowed heavily from an older MC manual. If you have ballast, you'll want to flush that.

Can't say I fault him too much. My boat's been off the water for going on three weeks now due to low water. If it stays like this into September I'll be putting her up early too. Usually don't winterize until November but I can see very early October if this drought keeps up.

Hopefully the 4" we got in the past two days helps you out.

Great checklist easttxskier. Do they have these details for the winterization of the ballast? I know its a ski site but us X14 owners have a few extra items to keep from freezing.

Also, make sure you check the INDMAR manual that also comes with the boat. It goes into more detail on the engine winterize. Here is a link:

can't blame you for planning ahead. Hopefully your planning will be worth it when you are pulling the boat in December, just ahead of the first freeze.

Was out at a lake in the Sierra foothills over the weekend. Temp was 106 and plenty of water. Put 6 hours on the engine on Saturday; another 2.5 hours on a short day for Sunday. No plans for winterizing anytime soon. Say what you want about CA but the weather can't be beat and here in Nor Cal we have water. :D

Oh no this is no time soon but know it's coming so I'm just looking to get my ducks in a row. Plenty of summer time left here in TN. Just added five more hours this weekend and have a cabin rented for all next weekend. Plenty of pulls still left for this year!

Can someone tell me how to connect a hose to my 1988 Tristar 190 351 Indmar? I have a baby coming and am sadly going to have to think about winterizing soon. This is the first year with an inboard and I want to be sure I am doing it right! I have the boat's manual and there are steps that need to be done with the boat running out of the water but I am not sure how to go about doing that
Thanks!

Agreed. '04 209 here. Would love to have a solid resource available when that TERRIBLE time comes to winterize.
