Do someone know where to start at to get a deccent slalom wake behind a x2 with wake plate?

Tried at 48km/h or 30 mph and plate a 20%. But i get a kind of big and steep wake.

What year X2? I have an 07. I think it would be hard to get a "decent" ski wake. I have the wake plate and when I ski, it's 100% down. I bought some wake hoppers/wake skis and like the big wake for them.........plate up.

You start behind the X2, pull it into the dock of you buddies 197 park the X2 and get on the 197...

Seriously, I ran 1/4 tank of gas 1/4 full KGB ballast and wake plate between 40-60 % at 32MPH

Plate 100% down and you are good. Not a 190 wake but it works for us :)

2012, I know it will never be a prostar, but readed on the team talk here that people wanna take the x2 trough the course, so I tought you can get a pretty good wake out of it for slalom.

I own a Prostar 214 but my buddy has a 2007 X2 .... We just slalomed a few weeks ago behind his boat and the pull was very good.

The hump on the way off the wake was pretty noticeable at 32 mph .... 15 off was not bad ...from a driving perspective the hull and tracking got squirrelly and would wander a bit with the plate all the way down. I recommend around 60% down.

Just my $0.02

Anyone have a pic of an X2 wake with plate and slalom speeds? I rode in an X2 w/o the plate and the wake looked like a wall.

Was out today and playing with the wake plate settings, was running 32mph and 15 off, I found anything less the 60% down was like hitting a wall, I want to see what more will do but the old arms were in rough shape after a few goes. Anyone have any experience with 80 or 100% down? How does the boat handle?

My 07 handles great with the plate 100% down. I got a pair of wakeskis to take advantage of the big wake.....now I just jump around on the wake......
