Thanks for the schedule, it always seems like you catch skiing at the oddest times!

I was at Cobles when they filmed that episode. They took lots of film. Cobles is a great place, check it out if you havent been.

That's in North Carolina right???
Assuming they don't operate year round, do you know when there season is???

I remember the first time I ever saw competitive slalom skiing. It was many years ago on ESPN at like 2:00 am. I was amazed that people could actually ski like that (obviously it was before I owned a MC or a slalom ski myself). Now I'm doing it  -- but not quite as good though.
It's a shame skiing and wakeboarding aren't shown more often and at "normal" hours.

I think that the exposure could really help the sport, its too bad though

THis is great, but isn't this the same thing TMC has listed on the home page?

I don't see it anywhere on the home page, but maybe with it in both places we can draw in a few more viewers and push for a better time slot next time around

You sure do love that TIVO don't you!

I have never even used it. There isn't TV that is important enough that I NEED to watch every SECOND of it.

That's part of the joy of it. I only watch what I've TiVo'd (skiing, boating, snowmobiling, etc.) then I watch it at 2x's speed and only slow down for the interesting parts. Plus I never have to check the program guide, cause it knows my favorites and records them for me...Gee I sound like a commercial...OK I'm done now. Back to the thread....

Thanks for keeping us upto date on what's showing and SHOW MORE WATERSPORTS ON TV!!!

I am not so sure I agree. If skiing and wakeboarding were on TV more there would be a bunch more people messing with the little bit of good water that is left anymore. Maybe it wouldn't make a big difference but I don't mind it being a quiet little sport.

Good point Lance. I totally agree with you! A good case in point is surfing. So much media exposure (TV, movies, etc) and now everybody is trying it (including me :o ). There must have been a hundred guys in the lineup when I went surfing yesterday. Very crowded. I was surfing around people's heads like I was going around buoys in the slalom course! :headbang:

That is very discomforting!

TIVO is AWESOME!

No longer have to remember if I recorded a fav program. No longer worrying about nothing being on, all my favs are recorded. No longer have to watch commercials, 30 sec skip ahead! TIVO has actually reduced my total tube time.

TIVO is AWESOME :)
