I noticed last weekend for the first time a ski lake just off 523 (around the Angleton, Lake Jackson, Clute area) that had homes around it. How long has that been there? I know that I've been by there about 300 times and for whatever reason I just haven't noticed it before.

I wanted to stop and ask some questions while I was there but was in the process of moving my mother from Surfside back to Dallas and had too many people with me. It looked like a fantastic setup.

That's not Lago Santa Fe, is it?

I think that this is the google map of it. Sorry, it doesn't get any closer.

Lago Santa Fe is North of 45 between Houston and Galveston. The place that I'm talking about is South East of Pearland about 8 miles from the Gulf.

I thought LSF was closer to 45, but it was worth a shot. Just so I'm clear though, is it east or west of 45? The only thing I know that's north of I45 is I45.

Here's a link to LSF Development Corp's website. There are a couple of lakes listed on the SE side of Houston.

The best that I can remember it appears to be between 523 and Shoreline Rd. in the attached link. At least the street name would make sense in this case.

In any case, I'm stopping by there the next time we go to grandma's house. See if I can make some new friends - I'll have to make sure that MC sticker on the back of the truck is in plain view.
