Ok some of you guys know the problems I've had with my 91 since I bought it. I have a guy that wants to even trade me a mint 83 s&s. what do you guys think? I know there is probably more info needed here. I just wanted to get some of your opinions since you guys have been doing this longer than I have. I've always wanted a s&s! Thanks

Do you value your current boat to be worth more than $7500-8000? Because that's about the max a mint 83 S&S with low hours would pull.

I would think I could sell mine for 8-8500.

you are taking a step back in wake. I say stay with 91 or go newer. I do not know the problems you have had.

I wouldn't. Much better wake

Skied them both. Unless you're running past 22 off the wakes won't be an issue either way. I love my stars and stripes, that said going older rarely leads to fewer headaches in the long term. If you really love the s&s go for it, but don't think problems won't come up on this one.

Some '83 MC's have wood stringers/floors. Something to consider.

91-94 is a desirable wake as stated on here many times
Sounds like the other guy will be getting the best deal, not you.

What's wrong with yours?
