Here's our lake......Serpent Lake in central Minnesota. Did you see the movie Fargo? We're about 10 miles from Brainerd.

We're about a block north of the north end of Liberty Lake. Pretty clean usually, even though we have an algea problem at one end. Tuber heaven. Takes me about 20 min. to ski all the way around. I can't wait till after Labor day when all the bozos leave the lake to the hardcores.
I'm jealous of you guys in the flooded valleys like Tim's Ford...... I'm sure it's easy to find a little cove away from the tubers most any day.

Heh...your glass is safe from me. You live in a nice part of the country, but it's too much of a hike, especially hauling a boat.

Broken Bow. Not good enough, apparently, as another hydroelectric dam is under construction to the south, so that there will be 2 lakes in a row on the Mountain Fork river.

edit: can't get the link to work properly. keeps showing lake powell. will get it to work eventually.

Our little piece of heaven.

Our club even has it's own caretaker/boat waxer.

"Biff, go wax my MasterCraft."

"Yes Mr. McFly."

I don't think we'll be breaking any records 'til we get Keith to adjust the balls a la Micheal's style.

Official distance was 54 miles, shore to shore. He estimates he actually swam closer to 70 miles due to a storm. He did the swim with no support boats. He towed a small raft with supplies and a radio.

hmmmm, photo is "x"ed out... I assume it's Lake Superior. Where exactly on the lake do you ski UMP? (don't worry, I won't bring any tubers up there, just curious, we've had a few family reunions up in the UP)
