I am shopping for a cover for my 2004 xstar. I have looked at mastercraft, apex canvas and westland. I am leaning toward westland because it covers the back of the boat and the ski platform and i have not been all that impressed with the ratchet design on tmy existing mastercraft cover. Why are all the mastercraft covers ratchet and why do they not cover the ski platform? I like keeping the back of the boat covered and the platform covered just to reduce the fading. Thanks for any advice.

I have the Westland and I am on my 6 th season. I can't imagine my transom without it on my lift. Can't go wrong with their fit. They are the OEM cover for Centurion. Go with sunbrella right off the bat tho. It's worth the extra cash in long term. Best price I found was iboats.com
