I own a 1990 Tristar w/ a Ford Indmar 351. I recently replaced damper plate on flywheel. Put it in the water and ran great on a 15 minute test run. Ran it again for 30 to 40 minutes. Transmission rattle fixed........Parked it, got in for another run and made it 4 to 5 minutes and all of sudden at 3/4 throttle, nothing, it shut down. Started back up fine, will run at low speed with no problem. Whenever I give a lot of gas or work towards top speed it's not getting gas for some reason. Any suggestions, fuel filter, pump or carb issues?

Ethanol in the gas has gotten to the fuel line. Replace the rubber fuel line from the tank to the fuel pump and you should be okay.

I just replaced my fuel line from tank to the engine mounted pump and found the line serviceable. However, the anti-siphon valve atop the tank was badly clogged -- recommend you give this a look.
