Ill do that whats the spread 7 or 10. Thats your typicall Florida fan always rooting against there SEC rivals. Not thinking that if Georgia loses it makes Florida look that much worse. I think you got your jorts on to tight, not letting enough blood get to the brain. By the way I drink Bud Light.

Dont forget to check out www.gatorswearjeanshorts.net
Where did I say I was pulling against jawga??? If I take the points spread and jawga wins under the spread, I still WIN!!! ;) Had I said that I would take Hawaii heads-up then I would be definitely be rooting against jawga.....

What in the world are jorts??? Is that something new you jawga fans are wearing??? Or are you taking spelling lessons from rod???

As for the website you want me to visit...............Why in the world would I want to check out a site that some anti-GATOR redneck jawga fan probably created??? ;)

Armanti Edwards... The QB for ASU... Can you say? hmmmmm

Edwards turned in one of the most impressive months in school history, totaling 1,243 yards and 16 touchdowns in four games to lead Appalachian to a share of its third-straight Southern Conference championship and the NCAA Division I quarterfinals.

Edwards rushed for 615 yards on the month (153.8 per game) and 12 touchdowns while topping the 100-yard rushing mark three times in four games and running for multiple touchdowns in each contest. Through the air, the sophomore racked up 628 yards (157 per game) and four more touchdowns. He completed 67.5 percent of his passes (56-of-83) and was intercepted just twice on the month.

I would be interested in how the points spread changes in the Sugar Bowl. It would be a tough bet, but I know UGA will be ready because of what happened with WVU the last time they were in the Sugar Bowl.

Looking forward to seeing the game Friday night. Too bad you have to miss it. Have you been to a Championship game in Chattanooga? I went to 3 when our Adrian Peterson was playing. After going to a school that played in 1AA, I hardly ever miss one that is on TV. College football is strange this year. ASU beat Michigan, GA Southern beat ASU and lost to Colorado ST.

Yeah Georgia has only played Mich. twice once in 1957 Georgia lost 26-0, they played again in 1965 Georgia won 15-7. Georgia has been able to play the big three from up north that much. We played Ohio State once in 1993 and won 21-14, and played Notre Dame in 1980 and won 17-10. I wish Georgia would play more teams from the north.

Take your favorite College football team and list another team that you think would most remind you of your team from the other conferences For example My team is Georgia. Tebow wins Heisman.:D

NEW YORK -- Tim Tebow needed only two years of college to graduate to Heisman Trophy winner, putting the sophomore in a class by himself.

Florida's folk-hero quarterback with the rugged running style and magnetic personality won the Heisman on Saturday night to become the first sophomore or freshman to take college football's most prestigious award.

Since 1935, when Jay Berwanger of Chicago won the first Heisman, every winner had been a junior or senior -- until Tebow.

I personally think they should change it to "Senior" player. It's become about the title and the money and not the award. Now they have given it to a Sophomore.......come on.

I am bias of course but D-Mac was sent there last year, had a better season this year based on his stats. Team stuggled so he was not looked upon as highly......Is it about the team....., the player???

Trivia question please name the eight SEC players to win the Heisman trophy. Ill give you a hint 3 are from Florida, 2 are from Georgia, 2 are from Auburn, and 1 from LSU. Special teams need to step up also. No more kickoffs from the 5 yard line. I bet Richmonds average starting position was near the 50 yard line. Makes it hard for the Defense to play especially without rest. You guys score way too fast. Defense is on the field longer than the offense.

Is it me, or did the MSU offensive play calling blow chances to win the game in the final +5mins? QB had thrown interception all night so MSU goes to the run for most of the game. Then, within 1 score and a TON of time left (+5mins), MSU feels they need to almost exclusively throw the ball?!?!

Sorry MSU players, IMO, your coaching staff didn't give you a great opportunity to win in the closing minutes. The play calling was...offensive.

Illinois had a good season with the talent that they have. Zook is a great recruiter, I think they said 19 of the 22 starters for UF last year were his. They caught a USC team that was better than they had been all season. Had USC been healthy there is no doubt in my mind that they would have been in the title game.

Man...you have to give a ton of credit to USC. They showed they were overall the better team, BUT ILL showed they could compete with them for a while. They came out and got overwhelmed early, but seemed to hunker down and compete. Then turnovers going for the extra yard killed them. You have to like that spirit, but sometimes it's better to just go down.

One thing I hope tOSU takes from the IU and UM games...control the ball...NO TURNOVERS! UM almost gave the game to the gators by spotting them 4 turnovers. WISC squashed any attempt at a comeback win by turning it over going for it all, when it wasn't yet necessary. ILL shot themselves in the foot when they started to play and move the ball by turning it over.

OSU vs. USC next two years...home and home deal, like the Texas series!

Not that I am throwing stones ... We had a crud year as well. But at least we beat the SEC again!!!

Yeah...our 6'-1" 235lbs running back outrunning your safety = Big Ten slow. Can we just stop that argument already?

I think this sums it up a bit better. From the Columbus Dispatch (which doesn't always drink the Buckeye Kool-Aid):

"Maybe all this talk about the SEC's superior team speed is missing the point. Compared with LSU's creative offensive game plan, the Buckeyes' play calling looked like something from a children's pop-up book. Could it be that the big difference between SEC and Big Ten teams isn't how fast the players run, but how quick the coaches are on their feet. Last night, Les Miles and his staff won that race."

I give tons of credit to LSU and their game-planning and adjustments. They suckered OSU into coverages that left people wide open for easy points...just like last year. When is OSU going to learn to cover a tight end?

Congrats LSU...you out-played, out-coached, and out-manned OSU.

BUT...for all you haters...don't look for OSU to go away anytime soon! There's a lot more hatin' for you in store!

Gotta be a hater as it is my blood as it is yours. The issue was speed on the outside and coaching in my opinion. They played Man all night long and OSU could not exploit that. The dumb penalties killed as well.

I can 'hate' but give respect where it's due. As stated by one of the shows this morning, the SEC is probably more mentally prepared for big games b/c they are 'in' more big games thru-out the year.

I think UM's hiring of RR and the fact that Zook is at IL will bring about good change for the Big Ten. I think it'll bring in a variation of what works in the SEC but also works in the late season adverse climates in Big Ten country.

Ohio State has some great talent coming in and if some of the defense sticks around, they'll continue to be one of the top programs in the country...like it or not.

Again, congrats to LSU. They proved, on the field last night, that they were mentally and physically better than OSU.

I agree with the preparedness for big games. Most of the SEC schools are in 5-6 big games a year that are physically draining. This not only prepared the teams psychologically for big games, but also gives backups a chance to play in big games because those games are so physical. That is why LSU could have a back up safety come in for an all american and not miss a beat. Good point P-hat on the mental side of big games.

I agree with this, however, it also does not hurt for it to be a home game for LSU. No excuses just a fact they do not have to travel as far and they are used to playing in NOLA.

LSU played great last night ... I would have loved to see a 4 game playoff with Georgia and USC included.

The Big 10 and Pac 10 need to get on-board!!!

yes, the OSU running back was faster than the LSU safety...that is not the point. The speed of the SEC is across the board. The defensive lineman absolutely dominated the OSU o-line (even with the holding). The linebackers are quicker side to side and the overall pursuit speed of the defense is higher. It is not the skill positions where the SEC speed gets you. It's the speed of the interior guys.

No other conference matches the SEC when it comes to overall team speed. Hence Speed Equals Champions.

Stu, well said. I had made the SEC speed comment which P hat seem to have a problem with. I did not respond since he referred to it as "an argument" In my mind it is a fact. OSU running back (did have a bit of a head start) is a great back. But you are right about team speed. In this case they did have it at skill positions as well(not QB however)The D backs were all over OSU receivers like white on rice. The LSU receivers spent the night behind OSU D backs. The field goal was blocked with speed(according to the lineman that blocked it). The sacks were mainly with outside speed and not bull rushes. Don't know why the OSU fans are in denial. Oh well, as long as they believe that the SEC will continue to dominate. "the speed that thrills is the speed that kills!"

Some bad info. LSU does not play in the Dome. High School championship finals are played there. Be that as it may Hester could not have played there 12 times unless he somehow sneaked in when he was 5 or 6 and played touch. Granted LSU was like a home team but, locals could not get tickets any more than anyone else.

There is not much question that LSU was/is fast, but I point my finger firmly on the coaching staff for the outcome of this game (and a little on the penalties). If you have a team putting all kinds of pressure on your QB like lsu was, how about throwing a screen pass to keep these guys honest? I mean, it isn't rocket science. If you have 4 or 5 guys breathing down your throat flip a screen or even two screens back to back to make these guys think about getting ripped for 15 or more yards.

I don't know what happened to the OSU coaching, but this loss really disgusts me. WHat ever happened to the half-time adjustments that Tressel made in the past? OK, so Hartline was blanketed by the db and didn't have the speed to burn him, so how about putting Hartline in the slot and run slants where your guaranteed 4-6 yards per pop. How about when it is 3rd and 4 not running three of your receivers 15 to 20 yards down field!!! HOW ABOUT RUNNING BEANIE DOWN THEIR THROAT WHEN IT WAS WORKING????? Last year our team didn't get off the bus, this year it was the coaches. Heck, lsu didn't even have to make any adjustments at halftime because we sure as heck didn't.

Congrats to lsu, they deserve this win because thier coaches did their job.

Capt. I can't disagree with a thing you said. They did coach a lousy game. Tressel said they never lost their composure but, four personal fouls? LSU is going to miss their defensive cord. next year. Neb. is getting a good guy. You guys have the talent to be great next year. Good luck with the coaching.

If Tressel said that, he wasn't being entirely truthful. There are articles where the players themselves said they were yelling at each other on the sidelines.

Like I stated above, and in emails to friends, where the heck where our tight ends? They can be some of the most valuable players on the field when trying to avoid a quick rush too! Just look at how LSU and FLA used theirs the past 2 NC games.

I too am disgusted with the coaching this year. I'm disappointed that our guys couldn't keep their cool and got stupid penalties.

I AM NOT taking anything away from LSU and their coaching staff. They did a great job.
