View Full Version : Dual Batteries on Maristar 225

Currently I only have a single battery on my 93 Maristar 225. I do plan on anchoring up and relaxing on the boat for a good amount of time during the day after the morning wakeboard session. I dont know want to have to worry about battery life charge etc (although I do have a charger hardwired, and a small honda generator if I really needed). I want to add a
2nd battery, some people even suggest 3 batteries. Due to the limited space in the battery compartment, I guess the best bet would be to run it up to where the amps are located behind the observer seat correct?

Show me what how you set your battieres up. Thanks

I did the dual batter thing a couple of years ago. I did the setup with the automatic switching relay and added in a total disconnect switch. http://genuinedealz.com/ is the only place to order batt cables and related supplies. Go bigger too, I went 00 battery cable. Works flawlessly!
