adding a Remote in the 2012 Cupholder

I added a Clarion MW1 remote in my cupholder above the BIG tochscreen with a MWRYCRET Y-Adapter. Works perfect there since I don't want a Cupholder above my touchscreen anyways and the screenswitching in the touchscreen is slow as hell but i need stereo control...

The remote snug-fits perfect with a couple of layers of what we call mirror adhesive with the protection film left on into the cupholder. you just have to drill the hole in the cupholder bigger so the plug fits through it. After that just find the DIN style connector behind the big, under or in front of the dash, put the Y-adapter in between, hook up to the remote and you're done!
