I've spoken to PP and they're sending me a new GPS unit.
Is it a relatively easy task to change out? Looks like I'm into some dash removal to start with.

Yes, it is just mounting the new puck and plugging it in. Had the same thing happen to me earlier this year. New puck picks up twice as fast and even in the garage.

Those little antennas aren't cheap, are they?

No they're not. With shipping and tax it'll be about $220.
