Adding Ballast

I was wondering what everyone's thoughts are about adding some additional ballast tanks to my 2007 x2 with RTP? Can the engine handle hte extra weight, maybe changing the prop would help with additional ballast?

I was thinking of one on each side in the lockers and one up front under the seats, if we could plumb them in that would be great with the hard tanks.

here is a great thread that roonie did a while back. i did the same thing and i have 07 x2 with the rtp and yes the engine can handle it. not sure what your prop is but mine is 14.25 x 14.5 and it does a great job.
