Looking to buy a used 2010 MC X45 and was wanting to get information on buying a good extended warranty with it. Anyone have any experience buying an extended warranty on a used boat? If so, any recos on reputable companies? Thanks.

FPC offers marine coverage.

There is an option for the original owner to purchase an extended warranty through a program called "Mastercraft 3 + 3" Check with sellers to see if they purchased it or if they have the option to if you are buying from a private seller since the boat will be so new.

FPC is the company offering 3+3.

I bought the FPC agreement. It was a bit pricey but I figured if my BIG screen decides to go caput in a few years it'll come in handy. More piece of mind than anything.

We bought the 3+3 from our local dealer. We've had to 2 minor repairs covered by it so far. It definately makes us feel better knowing that we are protected.

What is a ballpark on this?

I've got the same question. Buying a 2014 X30 but I'll be the 3rd owner so MC warranty doesn't transfer. Considering a warranty from FPC on A) the engine and/or B) the boat.

A - extended warranty on engine:
- 12 months for $1680,
- 24 months for $2020
- 36 months for $3140

B - limited boat warranty:
- 12 months for $1090
- 24 months for $1260
- 36 months for $1520

Thoughts? Is FPC warranty worth it or not? Good pricing?
