Can anyone tell me what the stock prop was on the 06 X9 and is a splined shaft or not?

Not sure what the factory prop was, but I think all props on MC's in that year are splined.
What prop do you have now? What engine? Trans?
Are you trying to get better performance? Holeshot? Top speed?
If you have all the specs, Eric from OJ has always been very helpful on here.

I have a friend who has an X9 that is going on a trip and wants a spare prop as a safety backup, so I was going to lend him my spare but just wanted to make sure it would fit. The spare prop I have is off of an 08 PS197 with MCX and slot tranny and the X9 is a 310hp with 1:1.
Again, this is just in case of emergency but I'd hate to lend it to him and have him need it only to find out it won't fit. The option of putting it on the boat before the trip to test it is not an option unfortunately.
Let me know what you think.

Slot trannied boats have a 1-1/8" shaft. All 1:1 have 1" shaft. Won't work.

MC changed all shafts to Splined in 03'. Slots and 1:1's all run the same shaft diameter. Prior to 03 the 1:1's were 1" while the slots were 1 1/8". If the other boat is a 1:1 then you are good to go.
