Finally....my teenager who is 6'5"and 215# is taking up slaloming. I'm looking to buy something that will keep him happy as a recreational skier. Be looking to get him up to 32mph near term, maybe 34mph later. He's using an OLD Connelly Concept of mine right now but at 67" it's too small. I am looking for a clearance / closeout / good deal on a longer ski with double boots (must be open toes for size 15 feet). Thinking of:

New Connelly Concept with dbl Stokers
HO Triumph
HO Mach 1
OBrien Seige

Please post any suggestions or experience in this area.

HO Comp Free Ride 71" or 69" very reasonably priced at www.waterskis.com - nice action for open water - very forgiving - but responsive when you need it...it will get you through a course but won't win any medals...

I am, depending on the year, between 210-230lbs...although I am only 5'10". ;) I have been skiing an HO Triumph for 4 years and have been very happy with it. The ski is 69" paired with HO Animal bindings. I am a very recreational free skier. I have never been on a course...although I would like to some time. It would show me how "recreational" of a skier I am!

I see your from WI too...I am in Waukesha County...where are you?
