Have a 1999 SportStar. Sticker on transmission says to use Pennzoil Dexron-III Mercon. I cannot find it anywhere. Do they still make this stuff? If not what should I substitute! Thanks for input.

I went through the same thing a few weeks ago. When you're in the section selling transmission fluids, look at the bottles. What you'll see is that the higher number Dexron bottles say they're compatible with the lower numbers.

Just wanted to let everyone know I bought the Moeller 5 Liter fluid extractor online for about $85 for this job and others. It is a marvelous device and worked like a charm. Fluid changed in about 20 minutes! Would highly recommend the Moeller! It is worth the price!
