original BIG surf profiles make sense ???

I was thinking of throwing this into the 2012 BIG and Ballast Thread, but then again the problem i slightli different.

to the guys surfing longer then me, do the profiles make sense? meaning that the surf tabs are down on the same side as the tanks are full? I was always thinking and when trying it also looked that way, that by putting the opposite surftab down you tip the boat more to the side that the tanks are filled?

When you surf left, or, port, the starboard tab should come down, and vice-versa. Little confusing to wrap your head around initially. So, when I hit left on the tabs, it actually drops the right tab, rolling the boat left.

Those profiles look off. "Surf Left" should have the "STBD" tab down.
