I left my boat outside covered for a week and this morning this is what Is all over this one cushion? Anyone know what this is or how to get rid of it?79665

It looks like mildew. Get it out in the sun to dry up. In our bathroom we use listerine to remove mildew but I'm not sure how it would work on upholstery. Maybe just a simple upholstery cleaner.

Throwing some damp-rid under when storing and using poles to keep the cover from being in contact withe the upholstery will help. I've seen people add vents to help prevent this as well. I've used chlorine dioxide at a 3:1 mix on similar mildew stains with good results. Do a small sample area first on the underside of a seat as well as carpet that's hidden in a storage area. I had no problems with color retention, but better safe than sorry.

There are many a threads re: mildew removal on here, LOTS w/ great products that will remove most
if not all of what's pictured in your post.

TRY THE PRODUCT IN AN INCONSPICUOUS LOCATION, PRIOR TO CLEANING ENTIRE AREAS.

If mold has migrated into the foam, it's game over.
The covering will have to be removed, along with the foam to be tank bleached, or kiddie pool, or replaced.
