You won't find new ones anymore only if someone has taken them off

order a couple of these from skidim

http://www.skidim.com/prodinfo.asp?number=769B

they work really well won't clog and you can use the existing holes :)

Yeah, what pram said..... they aren't exact but they are dang close. As far as the ones on ebay....they were new originals. I think they were like $150 for pickup tube, line, and pitot

Does anyone know if the orginal style Pitot pick ups are still avail for 1985 M/C SS era. They are not available from any place that I have searched. I have a set from an 85. I changed over to the newer style and really don't see a big difference. A twig or leaf is a twig or leaf. When it hits the hole, it clogs. The later style looks nice and new and will fit on your 85 with a slight mod on the inside screw hole.

I sold mine for $75 each and replaced the one I was using with the skidim/teleflex pickup. Must better than OEM from a not clogging up every 5 minutes standpoint.

I can understand your wanting it to look stock, but for the better function, I don't care about that, particularly with something below the water line.

The new style says "Less likely to clog". I need to give 'em a try in our lake after a heavy rain.

I broke one while I was cleaning it out. Goal was to replaced with same so I didn't have to drill new holes. Thanks all for the info.....I'll get a set from skidim and sell orginals. Thx again .

No new holes required. Just enlarge the inside hole of the pitot base and abandon the third hole in the base. It will fit nicely with a very minor mod using a small drill bit. Use silicon to reseal the threaded connection(s).
