Does anyone know what the difference is between an indmar T/B and one from GM. Will one from the gm dealer work? They are much cheaper in price.
2007 L18

Thanks

For reference. A throttle body for gm parts dept is the exact same on that is on the indmar L18 and a lot less expensive.

Dealer had it on there computer. Said 1 of the 2 throttle position sensors was not working. TPS are in the throttle body and are not replaceable. You have to replace the complete T/B. M/C dealer wanted $600 for the T/B. online at A/Cdelco direct shipped next day for $186. The same part, part #, and coating. I changed it in 5 minutes. The boat runs much better. It was running very rich

Do you happen to still know the part number or where I can find it? I have a 07 XStar and they are wanting $900 for the part.

I haven't pulled it out yet. My Mechanic is pulling out the engine tomorrow because the Oil was full of water (they just rebuilt the engine this summer, so something is majorly wrong). I will forward him the links to see if either of these are the part I need.

Thank you so much!!!

many of the era automotive parts transfer over.. i.e. I have a 95 5.7 TBI found almost all the parts at NAPA except some specific parts.. a little research go a long way - rockauto.com a huge help too.
