Just picked it up on Saturday and my wife and I took it out on Sunday. So far we are very happy how it performed. We also really like the idea of the trailering cover covering the tower & bimini protecting it from bugs, dirt ect.
The Lake water temp was 57 degrees C, which is not to bad for this time of year and considering the ice just came off last week. We are hoping to head out tomorrow night for some short wakeboarding sessions.:)

Awesome Boat!!

Just out of curiousity, why are you leaving the bimini in the lowered position? I would think that would get in the way when you stand up....

So jealous right now! Boat looks amazing. I love the table. It's on option we didn't go with but I would have liked, had to draw the line somewhere. I notice you don't have the "water fall" platform, is this because you ordered so long ago?

In the lower position it creats more shade in the cockpit and especially when driving, sun is not in your eyes. Make a huge difference. No problem standing up, the only thing you need to watch is waking to/from the bow, I hit my head a few times, but once your past the windsheild you can stand up without touching the top:) My last boat had a Z5 Cargo top, I much perfer having the ability to tilt the fron down. Better shade.

Where abouts did you go?

We were at Wabamum Lake. Just 30min west of Edmonton. I was expecting the water to be around 50C, The launch was pretty busy, there were people out tubing on Sunday :)

My wife was telling me I should take the boards and ropes, but I thought the lake was going to be hovering arounf the 50 degree mark so passed on it. I was kicking myself in the butt for that :). If its not too windy tomorrow night, I will be out boarding.:)

You already have the 10 hours of break in done?

bjames
05-14-2012, 03:49 PM
No, only half that. Thats why the wakeboard sessions will be short so that we can still vary the RPMs. Also we wont be running ballast.

bjames, do you think your new boat clears your garage door with tower down? Looks like an 8' tall door, is that correct? Great looking boat. Enjoy.

BJames, your boat looks gorgeous! Love the colors. The flake at the back looks amazing. I love how they took the flake onto your deck.

You're going to be snappin' the necks of other boaters this year!

Did that cover come with the boat? Was it an option?

Yes, apparently this is the standard travel cover that you get if you have the Power Tower.

Havent measured this boat, BUT, my 2011 X25 with power tower and camera was about 5" too tall. Taking off the camera/pylon will clear the door by about 1". I already talked to my service department and they will take the pylon off when they winterize. that way we can get it into the garage.

I think you've got your C's and F's mixed up. 57 C is 134 F, maybe a little warm if the ice just came off.:D

Factory Prop and I already have the P&P Bags from the last boat. I will probably get a large sac for the bow.

Post lots of pics of your boat when you get it :)

A little late now, but the Phoenix trailer for the X-25 with the ZFT-4 tower is under 7' 5". It should be under 8' easily with the power tower.
