Hey guys, Have been lurking on here for quite a few weeks,,but have been waiting until I get my tower complete before posting. I have been a Malibu guy for the last 12 years,,and have owned 5 Malibus in that time. I liked my Bu's alot, but decided to give MC a try this time. Ordered up a X-25. Received it about 2 months ago. I wanted to "customize" the look of my tower so I wouldnt look like all the other MC's on the lake. I like the way it came out. Let me know what you all think. Looking forward to learning all about MC boats on here. Dale

Beautiful boat! We used our new X2 this weekend for the first time. We hosted the "after-prom" party at the lake and pulled 18 anxious seniors on the tube. The water was cold but they had a great time! I am very impressed with the build quality of the boat and the strength of the standard 5.7 Ilmor engine. Oh, and the kids loved the sound system with just two tower speakers... although I had to keep turning it down as it was hurting my ears and I was worried about offending the neighbors on the lake.

Dale - question for you. Did you powdercoat or annodized the green parts of the tower?

Like it man, nice ride.

I like how clean and simple the graphics are. Looks great.

Why did you go with the BTS windshield?

Had the tower powdercoated by the company that builds the towers for MC,,but they didnt have the lime green of course. I ended up having a place paint the speakers and inserts. That was tough to work out also,,didnt have luck getting MC to send me a plug or something to have the color to work with. When we would try to "scan" the green on the boat,,it wouldnt give a very high-rated match either. Ended up just having to keep trying until we got a good match.

Welcome to TT!! and the MasterCraft Family :) That is one awsome X25. Love the colors. Its hard to tell by the pics, but it looks like you powder coated the windsheidl frame and tower white. Is that correct? or is it my cheap monitor

Powdercoated the tower. Didnt do anything to the windhield frame,,,but now that you mention it,,that may be a great idea! May have to look into that.

Interior is mostly white with a little of the light grey. Did the lime green on the embroidery (sp?)

From the photos, the sides of the BTS windsheild look white, When I first saw the photo with the hite tower and seemingly white windsheild, I was awe-struck :)... Looks awsome!!

Congrats on the new boat and welcome to TT. That is a very clean look and the added colour to the tower and cans was a great idea.
