First off, let me appologize if this is a dumb question. I have a 93 maristar 225 inboard, and am having trouble removing the rear floor section to access the packing box to replace it. Do I need to remove the rear bench floor bolts to lift the bench first? Thanks for the help.

On my 92 I had to remove all the lower screws in bench so I could pull it up about 1/4 inch to side that middle board out.

Thanks for the suggestion, once the bolts from the bench are removed, does the bench just fold up and aft, allowing access to the drivetrain and gas tank? thanks again.

In the second photo in this post, you can see what the back seat in a 92 Maristar 210 looks like

There are screws that hold the fiberglass seat base down. If you remove all of them you can lift up on the seat base enough to remove the piece of floor the motor box bolts to. After removing the part of the floor you can see the stuffing box.

I hope your 93 225 is similar to this model. If not, I've wasted your time. Sorry.
