We are looking for a good used X2 in good condition? Want a good crossover boat (ski, board, surf). If anyone can recommend the best year to look for in regards to upgrades that would really help)

The 2nd one (is sold unfortunately). What do you guys think a reasonable offer would be for the 2007 black/red x2?

http://www.psunlimitednw.com/new_veh...87&pov=2537359

$50,000 seem very high for an 07 and I am getting kind of worried about all these used X2's with engine replacements?

Thanks again for your help!

I would say $40k-$45k on an 2007 depending on hours, options and condition. The red one has the MCX and some decent options and low hours. Pretty hard to tell condition with out getting up close and personal. You're going to pay more buying from a dealer than private party-so I'd guess that you'd be around the $45K. I bought my 2006 in August of 2008 for $40K from a private party. My boat had 50 hours and a few more upgrades than this 2007. There were a few cosmetic issues with the gel and billet on the one I bought too. As far as replacing MCXs go I'd guess it was because some one didn't winterize it properly.

I thought $40-45 was the norm however it seems very difficult to find a good condition boat in the West for that price. The search continues, thanks again for everyones assistance!

What you say??? I have an 07 I got Last October with 97hrs. Whats the new motor thing about? A new motor may be a good thing, right?

X2's prices are at a premium in the NW. They are very popular. I think it may be because many folks trailer to the lakes and they are average in size. A 20-22 foot boat fits well around here......

05 in Wisconsin. Low hours. Local to me. Might have to come up with some graphics to pull the look together.

Thanks for thinking of me. Have one coming in tomorrow, but it's already sold. Has a back up offer, too. That's how hot they are!

I was thinking I'd get a used one too but after shopping around the leftover 2011s were approaching the cost of 2009 ones I could find. Within about $5 k. Not sure how price sensitive you are but no hours and under warranty you might think about it. Maybe something to think about? Good luck!

I will see what he says. Are x15 easier to find? The problem is I want to be able to ski behind the boat and the x2 seems like the only reasonable option or the x14v but I don't like the layout?

Seriously, $50,000 for an 07 x2 and will not budge on the price in Portland? These boats must be in high demand. Same here in British Columbia, is $40,000-$45,000 not a fair price? It's amazing you cannot find an X2 in western NA right now? :(

I paid 46.2 last November for my X2, 97 hrs. Got it from Washington state and have spent 2k on it since. Cover, spare, refresh gelcoat, trailer bunk carpet, platform pad, etc. Premium 07 X2's are 55-55K in the NW.

X15's are at more of a premium, IMO. Not as many out there and more space, take weight better than an X2.
I searched for an X15 for about a year before I "settled" for a X2. (Not much of a compromise I'll admit. Love the X2, but would take a 15 any day.) 14V's don't seem cheap either.

Replaced engine 99% of the time = bad winterization. No issues with a Chevy 350.
I gave 40k for my 06 with 50hrs, MCX, PP, decent upgrades in '09. Thought that was a good price at the time. Like Rick, I spent about $2k in parts upgrades (stereo, heater, shower, etc) to get it to what I wanted.
Good to know they're holding their value well. (Same experience with my '96 Prostar. Owned it for 6 years, Sold it for $1k less than I bought it for not counting a couple K in upgrades.)
