I need to change my registration stickers.

Any tips on how to do this and how to find a match to the old stickers?

Thanks!

For my jetskis, jon boat and bass boat I just used the standard die-cut vinyl available at Walmart, Bass Pro etc etc. One $9 package does 2 boats in most cases.

For my X9 I just bought some chrome numbers from domednumbers.com to match my new chrome MC decals.

peel them off, you can use a hair dryer to heat them up

residual adhesive comes off with rubbing alcohol or acetone, immediately rinse with fresh water if you use acetone

PM me and we can talk about numbers, I've made a few sets

I used these guys, pretty inexpensive, nice results. Used the MC font they offer.

Use WD-40 to remove any residual adhesive residue.........works like a charm. Just make sure to de-grease prior to applying new stickers.

I ordered mine from 3dlettering as well. They are very high quality and have great customer service. I originally ordered black/chrome, but decided to switch to chrome/black after I received them. They exchanged them for free.

I'm going to cut some new ones myself soon. My wife has a cameo silhouette which makes projects like this a breeze. Just need to order some vinyl

I used this stuff from overtons to remove old lettering. Worked pretty good even though reviews were mixed.

My dealer was able to get me raised lettering that matched the raised Mastercraft lettering on the boat.

Just an FYI for everyone else out there, your dealer probably got those numbers from domednumbers.com

www.DomedNumbers.com $79.00

They're local and had them done for me in 2 days. Very cool guys. Even offered me a free matching Mastercraft sticker for my truck!

Yes, use a hair dryer or better yet I used a heat gun to warm stickers they peel off like a dream. I stopped at one of our local vinyl lettering shops and had him make me a set of reg numbers to match the brown on my ss. He charged me $20. Plus he made me 3 extra if I screwed up, which I didn't. Also paint thinner works great to get the residue off then clean with alcohol( non consuming kind)
