Can anyone tell me what size and model my tower speakers are? The boat is an '07 X-45.
I'm considering upgrading to the newer 7.7" speakers they're using on the newer boats.

You guys think my sound will be better? Especially if I upgrade to a 400A Amp instead of the 200A I have on there..

Thanks in advance for any input!

It looks like they are JL Audio. Look the same size as mine which are 6.5" but measure them to be sure.. What size are the tweeters?

I'm not sure what size either of them are.. I can measure them at lunch and find out.

Those are JL Audio 'T' series (not the 'C' version) 7.7s for sure.
You can also change those out with the HollowPoint 7.7" HLCDs if you want longer range projection. The small caps to close off the tweeter pod penetrations are available too.
If you want more power for the four tower speakers, which is highly recommended, than run a larger 2-channel or fullrange monoblock amplifier. A 4-channel amplifier is not usually the most power-effective or cost-efficient route to go in this application.

As David mention to really get the most out of an upgrade drop the Bullet Hollowpoints in there . Their projection back the the rider is a ton better. 4 of those babies powered correctly will make the rider feel like he's in the boat.
