I use to ride a yamaha 110 3-wheeler that was my buddies. After a year or two, he traded the 3 wheeler in on a Honda 250R quad. He paid for it himself from working a daily paper route. His dad had no idea what his son bought. We were probably about 13 or so at the time and maybe 100 lbs soaking wet. It was a 2 stroke, reverse kick start and super high compression on a new engine. We could kick it over about twice before the compression would build up and about buck us back off. For the first 6 months his dad had to start it for us. That thing would do 65 mph in no time flat. It is a wonder we are alive. I only wish we had a picture of that. Those two strokes were awesome and only around for a few years. I bet that quad is worth as much today as he paid for it back then...

My cousin had one....we had a blast with it when we were 8 years old. On flat surfaces they are ok....tip it over if you take a decline the wrong way. Rockman, I am assuming when she is riding, I.e. not in a photo op that you put a helmet on her.

I'd hadn't seen a 3 wheeler in years but I just saw one on the side of the road for sale last week...still sitting there. It's in VA if anyone is interested.

A biker was killed around here last weekend when he flipped his 3 wheel motorcycle taking a turn to fast.

"...At around the same time Sunday afternoon, Roanoke County police were called to an accident in the 8700 block of Bent Mountain Road. There, officers say 59-year-old Benjamin Baker was driving his three-wheeled motorcycle, when he tried to make a left-hand turn and lost control of the vehicle and it overturned several times. He died at the scene..."

'85 200x. Bought it new in '85 and can't bear to sell it. All origional except tires... and runs like a champ... (unlike my '05 crf250x which is in the shop now for carb work). Recent highlight was adding a short rope and a wake handle to pull the neighborhood snowboarders up the hill during one of our recent Portland snow-storms. I scored with the kids... and bombed with the parents. Oh well...

I had a 185 that I tooled around with during the winter last year. I ended up selling it, but for a 200 dollar toy to boss around in the snow with, it wasn't bad!
