I have a 2008 MasterCraft X-15. When we hit a wake or serious chop, the throttle handle has a tendency to fall forward, opening the throttle and causing the boat to surge forward. I have spoken with the dealer (who has now gone out of business) and their mechanic supposedly tightened up the throttle assembly but I am still experiencing the same issue. Any suggestions on how to fix this problem? Thanks!

Check under the throttle chrome benzal(sp). There should be a allen screw. At least on my boat there is.
Anyway, tighten the screw up.

Hope this helps

Wow, the video is great. It shows a slightly different throttle configuration but I think I get the idea.
