I bought some small LED pods for my boat just for a small accent at night. I already have all the wiring ran but want to know how to go about mounting the pod. Here's a picture of the area where I want it installed. It is a small 1.5" pod that has 2 screw holes for it.

This picture is right below the observer seat on the side of the boat:

I used 3M automotive molding 2 sided mounting tape. 2 years, still holding strong.

what about velcro?

welel the adhesive side of velcro doesn't stick to carpet too well...

i need the LEDs against the wall if that makes sense, so they can beam out across the flood..

Learn to sew. I would think you could sew it to the carpet, or even a fabricated mount/base to get the right angle or position for your led's. Never have done it but it may be possible.

Glue .

I would most likely fab a bracket to mount under the seat to keep the light off of the floor and out of harms way.
