For sale 1988 ProStar 190 with about 800 hours. Ford 351 V8 with a Power Slot transmission. This boat is in great condition. The interior was completely refurbished with new carpet and upholstery by Viper Customs in 2010. The transmission has new seals and new clutches due to a small leak. The carburetor has been replaced along with a new Mallory UniLite marine ignition system. The sound system was upgraded with a new Sony marine stereo, speakers, sub and amp. Includes the factory trailer, factory heater, original cover, new fitted cover, bimini top and the teak swim platform. Also includes the original owners manuals, maintenance records any replaced parts.
This is a great boat just waiting for the water. Located in middle Tennessee. Asking $8500

I'm not exactly sure what this boat is worth but I thought $8500 was a good asking price. Well over half that price is in the interior and mechanical work. I'm not trying to get it all back just ask a fair price. Seems like I'm in the ballpark ?

Awesome boat and the price seems right. I bet you could ask a little more for it and get it. If I had the moeny I'd be looking hard at it. Welcome to the forum. Will you be replacing it with another MC?

That boat looks as good or better than Harold's boat ever did!

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Before you compare it to Harolds, we'd have to see the teak. :D

Very nice! This boat is a perfect example why buyers should not spend twice that amount for a new Bayliner or other similar boat of poor construction. Your MC will most likely look this good 10-20 years from now with proper care. MCOCD, that's all I have to say!

Nice machine but I am happy with the 93... There is one thing that has never been an attraction for me on the 87-90 models so I have passed on all of them. I am pleased to see first-hand some of Jim's work. Looks like he is good at his work. I talked to Bennett the other day and he uses Friant for his work but the first clarifier to that was, "He's very slow."

How long have you owned this boat? Do you have some engine pics you can share...lastly, how far from Atlanta are you. Thanks and hope to hear from you soon

I'm about 3-31/2 hours from Atlanta. I have some engine pictures but the may not be on this computer. I'll see what I can find. I bought the boat in 08.

Good price. My 1990 looked almost exactly like yours, same colors and hull/body style, but not quite as nice. I sold it for $11K about 5 years ago; at the time it was a few years younger than yours is now.
