DB6501 Tweeter to Replace Clarions?

Hi Guys,

i'm sure this has been asked - does the external tweeter that comes with the Polk DB6501 component speakers fit in the factory clarion external tweeter cup that comes on 2003 era clarion systems?

Any pictures?

So I went out on a limb and purchased the db6501s hoping the tweeter would fit - and we have a winner!

For all of those out there looking to replace the factory clarion external tweeter with something, the db6501 seems to be a great choice with one exception - the front tweeter in the 2003 X2 is angled back towards the cabin and does not precisely fit the new tweeter cups. I used the flush mounts and the previous tweeter cups left a single screw hole exposed - will try to provide pictures if anyone is interested in doing something similar.
