I read lots of repair threads and acquired the right grit paper, Finesse It, a good polisher, and the recommended pads. Tried the recommended plan to get last season's surf board scuff marks out of my black transom. I was only able to do part tonight, but the results looks great!! Thanks all for the advice, and I'll post pics after the job is finished. So here's the question: The foam pads were expensive, and I know I'll need them again after another summer of surfing. What should I do to clean and store the pads for next season?

Can you post up the process?

I clean mine in soap and water and rinse several times and let air dry...then store them in a ziploc bag.

what learjet says about the pads, is what I do ..
wash them out with warm water and get all compound out of them , let dry and store in a gallon size ziplock so nothing gets on them ...
